In relation to a study conducted in Valladolid, Spain, 30 patients with chronic knee pain were evaluated, who did not respond to conservative treatments.
They underwent treatment with mesenchymal cells, using intra-articular injections of 40 × 10(6) cells and intra-articular hyaluronic acid at a single dose of 60 mg in the affected area, which was used to assess improvement in these patients.
